Vinam Oster, a young scientist, was granted the opportunity to leave her hometown in order to work in the newly discovered continent of Triam.
The Spiraling Winds is a chaptered interactive fiction project depicting the worlds of Aurum and Triam, with fully hand drawn scenes.

Important: Just like The Spiraling Winds itself, the underlying engine is also largely a work in progress. Though rare, there could be bugs with the timing of the graphics and whatnot. I've figured these seem to happen more with unstable internet connections. If something breaks too badly, please refresh the game and start over from the scene you were on. I'm trying to fix things as fast as I can, and if I can get it to a very polished state, I plan to make it open source for people to use.

Q&A
Q) How long is it?
A) Depending on the speed of which you read, the first chapter should take around 20 or so minutes.
Q) When will the rest arrive, and will it be paid?
A) This is a project I mainly worked on when I had free time, so I can't give a definite answer. Chapter 2 will be free to play as well, the rest I haven't decided yet.
Q) Is this game suitable for all?
A) Chapter 1 doesn't have any explicit elements, though the upcoming chapters will include more adult themes, so it's intended for mature audiences.
